Data collected: when you create an account, we keep your email address, an account identifier, and the game data needed to run the service (progression, inventory, connection history).

Retention period: your data is kept for as long as your account exists. When you delete it, your game data — progression, ships, inventory, guilds — is erased immediately and permanently; the account itself, including your email address, is kept for a further thirty days so that a dispute remains investigable, then erased in turn. Email verification and password reset tokens are erased twenty-four hours after they expire or are used.

Backups: the database is backed up daily and those backups are kept for thirty days before being overwritten in rotation. Erased data may therefore survive in them until that point; it is never reintroduced into the service, a restore serving only to recover from an incident.

Your rights: you can obtain a complete copy of your data from your account at any time, and request its deletion in the same place — deletion is immediate and permanent. To have your data corrected, or for any other request, write to support@spacefate.com.

Minimum age: creating an account is restricted to people aged fifteen or over. Below that age, processing your data requires the consent of whoever holds parental authority (GDPR article 8, set at fifteen years in France).

Complaints: if you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL), 3 place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris (www.cnil.fr).
